President Joe Biden’s new pet, Commander, obtained his second beneath the flashing lights of the Washington press corps — and a while frolicking on the seaside — on Tuesday.
Biden and first woman Jill Biden took the German shepherd on a stroll close to their second dwelling in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Commander was born Sept. 1 and arrived on the White House final week, a birthday present from the president’s brother, James Biden, and sister-in-law Sara Biden. Biden launched Commander in a tweet. He turned 79 in November.
Commander is the third German shepherd Biden has welcomed to the White House. Champ died in June at age 13. The different canine, Major, 3, now lives with household buddies in Delaware after behaving aggressively whereas residing on the White House.
The Bidens are spending the vacations between their houses in Delaware.
