Jessica ChastainActor Jessica Chastain will produce the collection adaptation of the dystopian novel The School for Good Mothers, by means of her manufacturing firm Freckle Films.
Published earlier this week, the dystopian drama is the debut novel of Jessamine Chan. The story follows Frida Liu, who leaves her daughter alone for a number of hours, forcing authorities officers to find out whether or not she is a candidate for a Big Brother-like establishment that measures the success or failure of a mom’s devotion. The collection has Finding Ohana-director Jude Weng hooked up to direct. Chastain and Weng will government produce the collection with Kelly Carmichael.
