Odisha FC on Friday sacked their head coach Kiko Ramirez with rapid impact on the midway stage of the Indian Super League.
The membership have managed simply two wins of their final seven matches and slipped to ninth place within the 11-team standings. But with seven factors separating the highest 9 groups, Odisha FC nonetheless have an opportunity for the last-four berth.
“Odisha FC has terminated Head Coach Kiko Ramirez’s contract. This has been a very difficult decision and not one that the club owners and management have taken lightly,” the membership mentioned in a press release.
“After prolonged deliberation and consideration amongst the membership’s technical committee, it was determined a change is required now to present the Club time to enhance performances and outcomes this season.
