Two crore 10 lakh 58 thousand rupees have been authorized by the Ministry of Water Resources for the development and reworking of remaining pucca works of 4 minors of Asaunda Distributor canal of Mahanadi venture underneath Dharsiwa improvement block of Raipur district and for CC lining work. Chief Engineer Mahanadi The venture has been awarded to Raipur. With the completion of the above work, along with fulfilling the shortfall of 260 hectares in its irrigation capability, water provide might be made for irrigation in 1113 hectares of totally designed irrigation capability.
