Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Higher Education Department has requested Principals of faculties throughout the State to confirm the incapacity certificates utilized by college students for admissions and lodged F.I.R in opposition to the scholars who submitted pretend incapacity certificates.
The Higher Education Department in a letter to the Principals of all Government, Non-Government, and Self-Financing schools underneath the Higher Education Department, stated, “Verify the disability certificates of the PH-OH students through CDMO of the district concerned.”
“After verification, if students are found to have taken admission with fake certificates, appropriate steps must be taken to cancel their admission immediately,” it added.
The letter additional stated, “FIR should be lodged against such students at the local police station.”
Notably, the course of the division to all of the Principals got here after a report of faux incapacity certificates used for getting admission in Bhadrak (Autonomous) College surfaced.
