BHUBANESWAR: As the worsening scenario in Ukraine has made the way forward for medical college students from Odisha and different components of the nation unsure, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday sought the intervention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to facilitate continuance of their research.
In a letter to the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister mentioned that enormous variety of medical college students from Odisha and different components of India needed to return again residence in view of the scenario in Ukraine. The disruption of their research is prone to proceed till cessation of hostilities and restoration of normalcy of their universities in Ukraine, he added.
The Chief Minister mentioned that that is an unprecedented disaster that has the potential of disrupting the careers of a number of hundreds of younger women and men who’ve already gone via the trauma of being within the struggle zone.
“I would, therefore, request for your urgent intervention with the National Medical Commission and the ministries concerned to enable and facilitate continuance of their studies in the medical colleges in India from the stage from which their studies in Ukraine have been disrupted on account of the war,” he added.
He assured full help of the state authorities for implementing a workable answer for this objective.
