BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday obtained 77 college students from Odisha who returned from war-ravaged Ukraine on the Biju Patnaik worldwide airport right here and interacted with them. The college students arrived right here at 5.30 pm in a particular flight organized by the Odisha authorities.
Welcoming them, the Chief Minister stated that it’s a big sigh of aid that the kids have returned safely from the struggle zone after spending harrowing time there. He assured them that each one efforts will probably be made to facilitate continuance of training. The State authorities will proceed efforts for the secure return of the remainder of the scholars to their houses.
It was a really emotional second for the dad and mom of the scholars and so they thanked the Chief Minister for his efforts to deliver again the stranded college students. One of the scholars stated that they left the medical college in Kharkiv when bombardment began and there was nothing to eat for twenty-four hours. Stating that his expertise was painful, the coed stated he was very joyful to be again.
Another scholar stated they needed to stroll for 10 to fifteen km from Kharkiv to Pesochyn after the Indian Embassy requested them to take action. He stated that they had been in a bunker below the college hostel for 5 days.
The Chief Minister had sought intervention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday to facilitate the continuation of medical training of the scholars who needed to abandon research in Ukraine because of the ongoing battle with Russia.
