The authorities has chosen 75 candidates — together with Maruti Suzuki India, Bosch, Motherson Sumi, Minda, Tata Autocomp, Toyota, Bharat Forge and Hero MotoCorp — to obtain assist meant for element producers underneath the Rs 25,938-crore production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for the cars and auto components industries.
The complete investments pledged by the beneficiaries of the scheme — each unique gear producers (OEMs) who had been chosen in February and the present element producers — stood at Rs 74,850 crore (over 5 years), method above the official expectation of Rs 42,500 crore, the ministry of heavy industries stated on Tuesday.
Two of the chosen traders — Bharat Heavy Electricals and Ceat — are non-automotive (element) gamers, the ministry stated.
