INDORE: A 30-year-old man was allegedly abused and thrashed for sporting a moustache in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, police mentioned on Wednesday.
The man, Ravi Tirodia (30), lodged a grievance at Malharganj police station in reference to the incident that occurred late on Tuesday evening, a police officer mentioned.
The accused within the case, Bunty Godha, his brother Naveen Godha and an confederate Tarachand alias Bam, had been agitated over Tirodia’s moustache, and used abusive phrases in opposition to him, the policeman mentioned quoting the grievance.
When Tirodia opposed the abused hurled at him, one of many accused thrashed him with a stick, he mentioned.
“When Tirodia raised an alarm, two of his brothers reached the spot and intervened, following which the accused fled after threatening the victim,” officer mentioned.
He mentioned that the police is investigating the matter intimately and the accused haven’t been arrested up to now.
