SIDHI: A journalist and some activists who have been protesting towards the arrest of an artist have been detained and compelled to strip all the way down to their undergarments whereas in police custody in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidhi district.
After the images of the detained individuals in underwear went viral on social media, two native police officers have been transferred, a senior police official stated on Thursday.
An area journalist and a few activists have been protesting “in unauthorised manner” in entrance of the Kotwali police station right here towards the arrest of Neeraj Kunder, director of Indravati Drama School, on April 2.
Kunder had been arrested for allegedly posting defamatory posts on Facebook utilizing a false id towards native BJP MLA Kedar Nath Shukla and his son Gurudutt Sharan Shukla, stated Kotwali police station in-charge Manoj Soni.
