Hamza Shahbaz, PML-N chief and son of Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif, has been elected because the chief minister of Punjab in Pakistan amid ruckus through the Assembly session.
Hamza Shahbaz was elected because the twenty first chief minister of Punjab with 197 votes.
Meanwhile, three PTI members of the Punjab Assembly have been arrested forward of the vote for attacking Deputy Speaker Dost Mohammad Mazari because the celebration boycotted the session to elect the brand new chief minister. Hamza’s rival Pervaiz Elahi didn’t obtain any votes as his celebration and PTI had boycotted the polls.
The lawmakers from the ex-prime minister Imran Khan’s celebration attacked Mazari and pulled his hair for altering his loyalty.
TV footage confirmed Mazari being slapped, punched and dragged by the PTI members earlier than the safety guards managed to rescue him.
The PTI lawmakers introduced “lotas” to the home and began chanting “lota, lota” (turncoats) as they lashed out at dissident PTI lawmakers who parted methods with the celebration and determined to assist the Opposition.
