Following Imran Khan’s ouster, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s 34-member cabinet was sworn in on Tuesday within the first part of induction.
On Monday night time, an inventory of 31 federal ministers, three ministers of state and three advisers to the prime minister was issued. Pakistan Peoples Party chief Bilawal Bhutto was not included within the listing.
The oath-taking ceremony was presupposed to happen earlier however was postponed after President Arif Alvi excused himself from administering oaths to cabinet members, Geo News reported.
Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjarani administered the oath to the ministers.
Sources added that the ruling coalition has not but determined to take away President Arif Alvi because it requires complete help within the nationwide and provincial assemblies. The ruling events will determine the title of the subsequent president at an acceptable time, Geo News reported.
