Michael Chaves to direct The Nun 2

Reports are suggesting that filmmaker Michael Chaves, who has beforehand directed The Curse of La Llorona and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is on board to helm the sequel to the 2018 horror movie, The Nun.

Bloody Disgusting reported that New Line Cinema, the studio behind The Conjuring universe, has employed Chaves to direct the second installment, whereas Akela Cooper, who additionally penned James Wan’s Malignant, can be writing the sequel.
