CHANDIGARH: Punjab Congress chief Amrinder Singh Raja Warring on Sunday slammed Bhagwant Mann for not visiting Patiala after a violence there when he ought to have been “most visible”.

“Punjab cannot afford a chief minister who cannot act on his own and needs to be continuously programmed by someone else,” the state Congress chief claimed.
Two teams had clashed on Friday in Patiala over an anti-Khalistan march, hurling stones at one another, and forcing police to fireside within the air to deliver the scenario beneath management.
The Punjab police booked 25 accused by identify to this point in six FIRs registered in reference to Friday’s incident which left 4 individuals injured.

Taking a swipe at Mann, Warring mentioned, “Probably because your master is busy and away in Gujarat and you can’t take a step outside or utter a word without his permission.”
Punjab BJP common secretary Subhash Sharma additionally hit out on the chief minister Mann for blaming two political events for the violence in Patiala.
Saying that police have arrested the alleged mastermind Barjinder Singh Parwana, Sharma requested which political celebration did Parwana belong to.
“The Punjab Police is saying that Parwana is the mastermind while you (Mann) are blaming the opposition parties. Nothing can be more shameful than this,” the BJP chief mentioned.
According to the police, Parwana, a resident of Rajpura within the district, is among the masterminds of Friday’s incident.
He had been accused of frightening the Sikh radicals to maneuver in direction of the Kali Mata temple on Friday.
Mann on Saturday mentioned the clashes in Patiala have been between two political events and never two communities.
“This was a clash between two political parties and not between two communities. In Punjab, people live in peace. A probe is going on over who instigated the violence. No one will be spared,” Mann had mentioned in Delhi.
Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang on Sunday mentioned these making an attempt to disturb the peace and communal concord within the state wouldn’t be spared and added that the chief minister monitored the entire scenario.
Any exercise that disturbs peace and brotherhood in Punjab is not going to be tolerated, Kang mentioned.
“Punjab doesn’t want ‘Khalistan’ or such anti-Punjab narrative. Today Punjab must get again on the trail of progress, our youth and farmers have to be saved, and Punjab’s water and pure sources want our consideration.
“The Mann government is working tirelessly to take Punjab forward in the right direction, and to end mafia and corruption,” he mentioned.
The conflict in Patiala was the primary main law-and-order incident within the state beneath the Bhagwant Mann authorities.
Opposition events had attacked the AAP dispensation of Punjab, alleging that regulation and order within the state has collapsed.
