Spain’s tennis star Carlos Alcaraz has set his objectives clear, saying that he desires to take his recreation a notch up and win a Grand Slam. On Sunday, May 8, the 19-year-old defeated Olympic gold medalist Alexander Zverev 6-3, 6-1 within the males’s singles closing to win the Madrid Open.

“Yes, I think so. I think I’m ready to win a Grand Slam, I think I’m ready to go for it. A goal for me this year, try to get my first Grand Slam but I’m going to work for it and let’s see what happens in Roland Garros,” he added.
Currently ranked No.6, Alcaraz churned out his greatest Grand Slam efficiency final 12 months after he reached the quarterfinal of the US Open at Flushing Meadows.
