After the Centre lowered the excise responsibility on petrol and diesel costs, former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan hailed India’s resolution to purchase Russian oil at a reduced price. He stated that India purchased discounted Russian oil to supply reduction to the plenty regardless of strain from the US.

Imran Khan slammed the present Pakistan Muslim League (N)-led authorities for “running around like a headless chicken with the economy in a tailspin”.

With the lowered excise tax, petrol will now value Rs 95.91 per litre whereas diesel will value Rs 89.67 per litre in Delhi from May 22.
