PATNA: Ruling JDU on Wednesday acquired a setback forward of Rajya Sabha election in Bihar. JDU state common secretary Rana Randhir Singh Chauhan resigned from the get together.
In his resignation letter despatched to state chief Umesh Kushwaha, Singh, did not point out the explanation for his resignation from JDU. Singh’s spouse Sunita Singh Chauhan had unsuccessfully contested meeting election in 2015.
Singh’s resignation is taken into account as a serious setback for the get together, which is within the eye of storm over rumours of its senior chief and union Steel minister RCP Singh’s denial of candidature for third time period in Upper House.
The former nationwide president, nevertheless, claimed that his relations with all senior leaders of the get together was cordial. He tried to downplay the controversy over his candidature for the third time period in Rajya Sabha.
