Nepal’s Tara Air flight, with 4 Indians onboard, crashes

A Tara Air airplane carrying 19 passengers, together with 4 Indians, from Nepal’s Pokhara to Jomsom in Mustang district adjoining Tibet crashed close to Lete hill space Sunday.

Besides the Indians, the 9N-AET Twin Otter airplane was carrying two Germans and 13 Nepalis together with three crew members. The final contact with the plane, which took off from Pokhara at 9.50 am, was made in Lete Pass.

“There has been no word officially on the condition of the passengers that include four Indians, possibly on a pilgrimage to the famous Muktinath Temple there… We fear the worst,” a Tara airways supply stated. The crew members embrace a senior teacher pilot, co-pilot and an air hostess, the supply added.

This is a growing story, extra particulars awaited.
