Illegal properties of Kanpur violence accused to be demolished

LUCKNOW (Uttar Pradesh): The unlawful properties of the accused concerned within the violence that erupted in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur district will likely be demolished, mentioned Prashant Kumar, ADG (Law and Order) on Saturday.

“The situation has been brought under control. Identification of the accused is being done. Action will be taken against them, and their illegal properties will also be demolished,” Kumar mentioned.

A tense scenario prevailed in Kanpur after a conflict broke out between two teams belonging to completely different communities allegedly over a market shutdown on Friday. Two individuals and one policeman had been injured within the aftermath of the clashes.
