SRI NAGAR: Three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists have been killed in an in a single day encounter with safety forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, police stated Sunday.
The encounter broke out Saturday in Drabgam space of the south Kashmir district and one terrorist was killed earlier than the evening fell, they stated.
A police official stated a decent cordon was maintained in the course of the evening to cease the terrorists from fleeing, and when the firing resumed early Sunday morning two extra terrorists have been killed.
Kashmir Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar stated all three are locals, linked with the phobia outfit LeT.
“One of them has been identified as Junaid Sheergojri, involved in #killing of our colleague #Martyr Reyaz Ahmad on 13/5/22,” he tweeted.
The two others have been recognized as Fazil Nazir Bhat and Irfan Ahmad Malik, he stated.
