MUMBAI: Amid the Shiv Sena-led Maharashtra authorities going through a disaster following the revolt by a piece of its MLAs, senior Congress chief Kamal Nath on Wednesday mentioned his occasion is united and its MLAs are “not for sale”.
Nath, who was on Tuesday appointed because the AICC observer in Maharashtra within the wake of the political turmoil within the state, and NCP chief Sharad Pawar are anticipated to satisfy Chief Minister and Sena president Uddhav Thackeray round midday.
The Maharashtra cabinet assembly can also be scheduled later within the day.
The Congress shares energy in Maharashtra with the Shiv Sena and NCP.
Talking to reporters on his arrival on the Mumbai-based official residence of Maharashtra Revenue Minister and Congress Legislature Party (CLP) chief Balasaheb Thorat, Nath mentioned, “It is for the Shiv Sena to take care of its team and see how it wants to handle its MLAs.”
He asserted that the Congress leaders had been united.
“I am sure we will stay intact. It is for the Congress party to demonstrate unity. The Congress MLAs are not for sale,” the previous Madhya Pradesh chief minister mentioned.

On Tuesday night, 42 out of Congress’s 44 MLAs within the state had been current on the assembly referred to as by AICC secretary H Ok Patil.
According to the Congress, its senior chief and Maharashtra Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Vijay Wadettiwar was overseas on an official journey and is scheduled to succeed in Mumbai on Wednesday, whereas MLA Subhash Dhote was additionally on strategy to the state capital from Chandrapur.
