Former head coach Ravi Shastri has backed SunRisers Hyderabad star Rahul Tripathi for making India’s debut within the two-match T20I collection in Ireland.

Former head coach Ravi Shastri lauded Rahul Tripathi’s batting method whereas backing him to make his India debut within the two-match T20I collection in Ireland. Shastri mentioned that Tripathi has the power to maintain the scoreboard ‘ticking’ and has a wonderful ‘shot-making capability and all-round sport.
Tripathi was on cloud 9 after he was known as as much as play for India of their upcoming two-match T20I collection in opposition to Andrew Balbirnie’s Ireland. You know which is tremendous at no.3 because he sets it up beautifully,” Shastri mentioned whereas talking to ESPNcricinfo.
“It is a very big opportunity, a dream come true (moment) and (I) appreciate (it),” Tripathi was quoted as saying by information company PTI.
“I am very happy that the selectors and everybody believed in me and whatever hard work I have put in, I have got the rewards. And hopefully, if I get an opportunity to play, I will try and give my best,” he added.
