JAMMU: Two closely armed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists, together with considered one of its most-wanted commanders, had been overpowered by villagers and handed over to the police in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district on Sunday, officers mentioned.
LeT commander Talib Hussain, a resident of Rajouri district and the mastermind behind the latest IED blasts within the district, and Faizal Ahmad Dar, a categorised terrorist of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, had been captured in Tuksan village, they mentioned.
Two AK assault rifles, seven grenades and a pistol had been recovered from them, the officers added. Director General of Police Dilbag Singh introduced a money reward of Rs 2 lakh for the villagers for his or her bravery.
