When requested if the heatwave and excessive temperatures are because of the lack of an acceptable plan, the activist mentioned that, “People of Germany are suffering and dying from the heat wave but do not have any political plan right now out there to protect people from the extreme temperatures.”
“We are seeing a heatwave that many of us, specially the younger generation, have never witnessed before,” Neubauer added.
Geeta Mohan additionally requested the activist concerning the local weather disaster and why folks don’t take it as significantly as different points.
Replying to this, the German activist mentioned, “Tackling the climate crisis and protecting people would mean getting into a one-on-one fight with the fossil fuel industry. The industry is behind much of the wealth and the growth of most of the world.
