On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX), the gold contract for October supply was buying and selling at Rs 51,409 per 10 grams, down Rs 217.00 (0.42 per cent) at 1:33 pm whereas the silver contract for September supply was at Rs 58,107.00, down Rs 263.00 (0.45 per cent).
