SRINAGAR: A labourer from Bihar was killed and two others injured in a grenade assault by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday, police stated.
The terrorists lobbed a grenade at a tent housing labourers at Gadoora village in Pulwama, a police spokesman stated.
He stated one labourer died within the blast whereas two others sustained accidents.
“The deceased outside labourer has been identified as Mohammad Mumtaz, a resident of Sakwa Parsa, Bihar. The Injured have been identified as Mohammad Arif and his son Mohammad Majbool, residents of Rampor, Bihar,” the spokesman stated.
He stated the situation of the injured individuals is steady.
The labourers had been manufacturing cotton bedding, police stated.
Terrorists had stepped up assaults on non-locals earlier this 12 months however there was a halt in such focused killings for the previous almost two months.
