“I’m very, very happy. It’s amazing, especially for it to be in a home Games and the first time I’ve actually had a crowd, because I didn’t have one at Tokyo 2020 and the other internationals I’ve done. It’s incredible. I’ve had so much fun and I wasn’t really scared. I was peaceful,” Spendolini-Sirieix was quoted as saying on the CWG website.

“I used to be peaceable all through, however on the final dive I had fairly shaky calves, so I believe that helped with the push that I wanted. Overall, I’ve by no means had that a lot enjoyable in a contest,” she stated.

“Whoa. Well, possibly. We’ll see, we’ll see. I’ve spoken to my mum, my dad and my brother. I gave Perry to my brother simply because it is essentially the most I can do to say ‘thanks’. They stated ‘properly carried out’. I might see tears of their eyes. I did not actually need to look them within the eye in case I cried.

“[My dad gave me a] thumbs up. I believe he did not need to cry, so he did not say a lot. He could not come to Tokyo, so he prioritised coming to Birmingham. And he got here to worlds as properly,” Spendolini-Sirieix added.
