Para Table tennis star Bhavina Patel was delighted after successful gold within the ladies’s singles class 3-5 on Saturday, August 6, within the Commonwealth Games 2022. The 35-year-old participant defeated Nigeria’s Ifechukwude Christiana Ikpeoyi 12-10, 11-2, 11-9.
Back in 2021, Bhavina received the silver medal within the Tokyo Paralympics, however she wasn’t fairly glad. Bhavina stated that she is now aiming to win gold within the 2024 Paralympics in Paris.

“It’s teamwork because if you get support from everywhere, you become ready to put in your best efforts. If your support system is strong, things become easier. My family has been really supportive, especially my parents and husband,” she said.
“I don’t have to household chores as there is a chef. So, I could focus on training and Lalan Doshi, my coach, also trains me on priority” Bhavina stated.
Bhavina, who hails from Gujarat, was additionally glad to see the attention amongst individuals relating to para sports activities.
