MUMBAI: Maharashtra Minister Chandrakant Patil on Monday mentioned the state authorities will bear the schooling bills of faculty college students who’ve misplaced each their mother and father to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The state greater and technical schooling minister made the announcement on the ground of the state Assembly whereas responding to a query by Congress legislator Shirish Chaudhary.
As many as 931 undergraduate and 228 postgraduate college students of varied authorities schools have misplaced each their mother and father to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The authorities pays their charges of the whole course, Patil mentioned.
The minister additional mentioned that the choice will value the state exchequer greater than Rs 2 crore yearly, and there shall be no want for the state authorities to cross related resolution yearly.
