Greater Noida: Armed miscreants in Greater Noida carried out a theft by taking a household hostage, after which all fled. The incident came about at round 4 am on Monday, Sector Beta-1 of Police Station Beta-2 space. The miscreants took the household hostage in the home of a service provider navy officer and robbed 2.5 lakh money, cell and an enormous quantity of jewelery and fled from the spot. Greater Noida DCP Abhishek Verma stated that the household of Merchant Navy officer Sarvagya Jain was taken hostage by the miscreants in plot quantity E-59 of Sector Beta-1. After this, the miscreants fled from the spot with 2.5 lakh money, cell together with jewelery and different objects stored in the home. This incident occurred on Monday morning round 4 am. The miscreants had entered the officer’s home and took the mom and son hostage.
