An earthquake of magnitude 6.8 on the Richter scale hit China’s Sichuan province on Monday. So far, no casualties have been reported.

An earthquake of magnitude 6.8 struck a mountainous space within the west of China’s Sichuan province after noon on Monday, the China Earthquake Networks Centre mentioned.
The epicentre was positioned on the city of Luding at a depth of 16 kilometers, the centre mentioned, about 180 km (111 miles) southwest of Sichuan’s capital Chengdu.
Netizens from as far-off as Changsha and Xian mentioned they’d felt the quake in Sichuan.
Minutes later, a second quake with a magnitude of 4.2 struck town of Yaan close to Luding, in accordance with the centre.
No casualties have been reported to this point.
In 2013, Yaan was hit by a robust earthquake, killing greater than 100 folks and injuring 1000’s.
