Ponniyin Selvan tune Alaikadal: AR Rahman delivers a melody on longing

The makers of Ponniyin Selvan: Part One on Monday unveiled the lyrical video of the tune “Alaikadal”, composed by Oscar-winner AR Rahman. It’s a monitor that underscores the yearnings of a girl for the person of her goals. The tune options Aishwarya Lekshmi and Karthi.

In the film, Aishwarya performs the position of Poonguzhali. The tune means that she is pining for the love of Vallavaraiyan Vanthiyathevan, performed by Karthi. She steers the boat via seemingly uneven waters as Vallavaraiyan sits there, smiling and having fun with the trip. There is a battle within the tune. While Poonguzhali appears to be in love with Vallavaraiyan, within the story, Vallavaraiyan is thought to be romantically within the Chola princess, Kundavai, performed by Trisha within the film.

“Alaikadal” is written by lyricist Siva Ananth and sung by Antara Nandy.
