Warner was slapped with a lifetime captaincy ban within the aftermath of the 2018 ball-tampering scandal. However, Cricket Australia is prone to take up the matter on the annual common assembly with the states on Friday. This comes after captain Aaron Finch retired from ODIs in September.
The left-hander has repeatedly acknowledged that he’s open to speak with Cricket Australia over the matter. The former ODI captain Finch and the present Test captain Pat Cummins not too long ago voiced that Warner ought to be capable of maintain the place once more.
