Gambhir cited Sri Lanka’s latest Asia Cup success, saying the island nation is peaking on the proper time. India suffered a six-wicket defeat by the hands of Sri Lanka throughout the Super-Four stage of the continental match in Dubai final month.
“Sri Lanka, because of the kind of success they have had at the Asia Cup. The way they are playing, the way they are probably peaking at the right time,” Gambhir mentioned whereas talking on Star Sports present ‘Game Plan’.
