NEW DELHI/ AMRITSAR: The Border Security Force shot down a quad-copter drone on Sunday night time alongside the India-Pakistan worldwide border within the Amritsar area, officers stated.
This is the second such incident within the final three days at this frontier.
The drone weighing 12 kg had 4 propellers, intercepted and shot round 9.15 pm close to the Rania border put up in Amritsar sector by the troops of the twenty second Battalion of the BSF, they stated.
Some consignment that was loaded and being ferried by the drone was additionally recovered.
More particulars are awaited, a BSF spokesperson stated.
