Student of the Year, which marked the entry of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra within the Hindi cinema, was launched in cinemas on October 19, 2012. Earlier, Karan had himself roasted the movie on his chat present Koffee With Karan. I don’t know what I was doing. I think I was drunk or something. I started shooting for the film and I was like why is the script so bad?
