Istanbul governor Ali Yerlikaya stated 4 folks have been killed and 38 injured in an explosion on town’s fundamental pedestrian thoroughfare, Istiklal Avenue.
He had earlier tweeted that the explosion occurred at about 4:20 pm (1320 GMT) and that there have been deaths and accidents, however he didn’t say what number of. The explanation for the explosion was not clear.
