By India Today Web Desk: Marking India’s presence on the seventeenth G20 (Group of Twenty) summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived on the Indonesian island of Bali on November 14. In visuals accessed by India Today, US President Joe Biden was seen strolling over to PM Modi, greeting the PM with a smile, earlier than the session on the summit started.
PM Modi will be seen talking to Biden for over a minute whereas the 2 leaders shared a heat hug earlier than the G20 session commenced.
Speaking to the press, US State Department Spokesperson Zed Tarar stated, “There is a friendship between President Biden and PM Modi which is apparent.”
The prime minister was seen shaking arms with French President Emmanuel Macron earlier than the G20 conclave and each leaders greeted one another with a smile. Taking to Twitter, PM Modi stated that they held a ‘transient dialogue’.
Prior to his departure on Mondy, PM Modi’s workplace (PMO) acknowledged his imaginative and prescient for the scheduled G20.
The PMO stated, “During my interactions at the G20 Summit, I will highlight India’s achievements, and our unwavering commitment to collectively address global challenges. India’s G20 Presidency will be grounded in the theme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or “One Earth One Family One Future”, which underlines the message of equitable growth and shared future for all.”
