By India Today Web Desk: A magnitude 5.5 earthquake that hit Greece’s Crete on Monday morning has triggered tsunami fears and prompted the monitoring businesses to launch an advisory asking folks dwelling in coastal areas to maneuver to security.
The quake hit 60 km (37 miles) to the northeast of Siteia in Greece at 1.25 am native time on Monday, in accordance with the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). It occurred at a depth of 80 km, the unbiased monitoring organisation stated.
