JAMMU: A prayer chief of a mosque and three members of his household had been killed when their automobile skidded off the highway and plunged right into a deep gorge alongside the Jammu-Srinagar nationwide freeway on Monday, officers stated.
The accident came about close to Prem Mandir within the Chenani space of Udhampur district round 8.30 am when the household was on its option to Jammu from their Gool-Sangaldan village in Ramban district, the officers stated.
Their automobile skidded off the highway and plunged right into a 700-feet gorge alongside the Jammu-Srinagar nationwide freeway on Monday, they stated.
Imam (prayer chief) of Jamia Masjid Sangaldan, Mufti Abdul Hamid (32) and his father Mufti Jamal Din (65) had been killed on the spot, whereas his mom Hajra Begum (60) and nephew Adil Gulzar (16) had been rescued, and brought to a hospital in Udhampur district.
However, each the injured succumbed to their accidents, the officers stated, including the our bodies of all 4 deceased had been shifted to the hospital’s mortuary room for autopsy.
