Nusr-Et is a series of luxurious steakhouses owned by Nusret Gokce, a Turkish butcher, chef, meals entertainer, and restaurateur often known as ‘Salt Bae’.
The demonstrators from Animal Rebellion, an animal and local weather justice motion and an offshoot of Extinction Rebellion, entered the restaurant on Saturday night and sat at empty tables which have been already reserved, as reported by the Independent.

A video shared by the protest group confirmed a lady being carried out onto the road by restaurant employees and left to take a seat on the curb.

The protest group stated in a press launch it’s calling for “a plant-based food system and mass rewilding”.
Ben Thomas, 20, stated, “Restaurants like these are symbolic of a damaged system.
