Stuntman S Suresh died on Saturday after falling from a peak of 20 ft on the units of the Tamil movie Viduthalai starring Vijay Sethupathy. He was 54 when he took his final breath. Suresh fell when he was performing a stunt for the movie. The rope that he was hooked up to snapped the second he jumped. The police have registered a case and the investigation is being performed.
As reported by the Times of India, the scene that Suresh was capturing required him to leap and run atop prepare compartments on a brief bridge. He was rushed to the hospital the place the medical doctors declared him lifeless. He is survived by his spouse and two youngsters.
The workforce Viduthalai together with director Vetrimaaran, actors Soori and Vijay Sethupathy amongst others, hasn’t launched any official assertion on Suresh’s dying but.
Earlier in 2020, three technicians died on the units of Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 when a crane fell and broken a serious a part of the units. The shoot of the movie was halted for over two years till this September. The movie’s administrators Shankar, Haasan, and Lyca Productions gave Rs 1 crore every to the households of the three deceased members. Before that, actor Akshay Kumar launched an insurance coverage system for stuntmen in India.
