KOLKATA: A girl and her brother-in-law had been significantly injured in a blast in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district on Wednesday, police mentioned.
The incident befell of their home in Ramnagar in Pipha gram panchayat space on Wednesday morning, during which Sonia Bibi and Rakibullah Mondal sustained extreme accidents, a senior officer of Basirhat Police mentioned.
Police claimed that it was an LPG cylinder blast however locals alleged that the “ball”, with which {the teenager} was taking part in after bringing it from a close-by floor, exploded, indicating at an unintentional crude bomb blast.
“The woman and her brother-in-law were injured in what seems to be a cylinder blast, but we have got a different version from the locals and are probing the matter,” the officer mentioned, including that the injured are being handled at a close-by hospital.
