England left-handed batter Gary Ballance has joined Zimbabwe cricket on a two-year deal after he was launched from the Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

By India Today Web Desk: Controversial England batter Gary Ballance has signed a two-year with Zimbabwe cricket in a bid to make a ‘fresh start’ to his profession. Earlier this week, Ballance was launched from his county staff, Yorkshire, after all of the controversy he was concerned in surrounding ‘institutional racism’ on the membership.
The left-handed Ballance is now more likely to play home and worldwide cricket in Zimbabwe. Back within the 2006 U19 World Cup, Ballance performed for Zimbabwe the place he scored 137 runs and picked up 5 wickets.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Zimbabwe Cricket and can’t wait to start work with some great coaches and talented players. The opportunity to represent Zimbabwe has given me a new-found passion and excitement for the game,” Ballance was quoted as saying.
“I’ve stored in contact with quite a lot of individuals inside Zimbabwe cricket over time and it has been nice to observe their current progress particularly,” he stated.
Ballance had to bear the brunt from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) after he called Azeem Rafiq a ‘P***i’ which was initially deemed as part of a ‘banter’. Ballance said that he apologised to his teammate for the same.
“On a private stage, I’ve gone by way of a difficult interval. After a lot dialogue I made a decision, along with my household, that it could be proper to make a change.
