Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro broke his silence on Friday for the primary time since his election defeat on October 30 and spoke to supporters calling for a navy coup to cease leftist President-elect Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva taking workplace.
Bolsonaro stated he had saved silent for nearly 40 days, including, “it hurts my soul.”
“Who decides where I go are you. Who decides which way the armed forces go are you,” Bolsonaro instructed his supporters on the gates of the presidential residence.
In his ambiguous feedback, Bolsonaro didn’t endorse their name for a navy intervention, however stated the armed forces would respect Brazil’s Constitution.

He has not acknowledged Lula’s victory within the October elections and his silence inspired supporters to proceed demonstrations outdoors military bases.
Lula’s slim victory over Bolsonaro might be licensed by Brazil’s nationwide electoral authority on Monday.
Bolsonaro instructed his supporters that the armed forces had been Brazil’s bulwark to stop socialism within the nation, including that “nothing is lost” and their trigger would prevail in the future.
“The Armed Forces are united. They owe loyalty to our people and respect to the constitution, and they are responsible for our freedom”, he stated.
“Unlike other people, we are going to win,” he stated.
