By India Today Web Desk: Australia star batter David Warner penned an emotional notice for his spouse after enjoying his a hundredth Test, saying she is the explanation he’s going stronger than ever.
Warner’s a hundredth Test coincided with Australia’s Boxing Day Test towards South Africa. The 36-year-old smashed a Test double hundred on the Melbourne Cricket Ground to make his a hundredth look memorable. The knock was essential for Warner, as he was struggling to attain runs earlier than the second match.
The Australian star took to Instagram to understand his spouse Candice’s efforts. “No words can describe my love for you!! Thank you so much for everything you do for the girls and me. You sacrifice so much for us, and I have never heard you complain about anything.
“You are the explanation I’m nonetheless going stronger than ever. I can’t thanks sufficient for being by my aspect. These previous few weeks have been a problem, however you’ve stored us in a constructive thoughts body. The youthful me wouldn’t have gotten via it. I really like you with all my coronary heart,” Warner added.
Candice also heaped praise on her husband, saying: “Take a bow darling you should. Man of the match and a win to go together with it!!
Australia beat South Africa by an innings and 182 runs within the second Test to safe the three-match collection. Warner, who scored 200, was named the Player of the Match. Australia will host South Africa for the third Test in Sydney from January 4.
“My Dad could not come here, but this one is up there. Never doubted my abilities. It is all about coming out here, I have trained my backside off in the nets. Just needed to get out there and perform on the big stage,” Warner advised broadcasters after the match.
