By India Today Web Desk: Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached out to Rishabh Pant’s mom after the Indian wicketkeeper batter suffered a horrific accident on Friday, December 30, on the Delhi-Dehradun freeway.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) additionally thanked the Prime Minister for contacting Pant’s household following the horrifying accident.
The BCCI took to Twitter and wrote, “The Honorable Prime Minister of India Shri @narendramodi ji called up Rishabh Pant’s family and inquired about his health following his car accident this morning. We thank the Prime Minister for this gesture and his soothing words of assurance.”

Earlier, after the information of Pant’s accident surfaced, PM Modi took to Twitter and wished for the teen’s well-being. “Distressed by the accident of noted cricketer Rishabh Pant. I pray for his good health and well-being. @RishabhPant17.”

In the meantime, bus driver Sushil Mann stated that Rishabh Pant would have been in serious trouble because the trunk of his automobile had already caught hearth. It was Mann who rescued Pant from the accident spot.
“The moment the car went towards the side of the connector, it already turned three to four times after crashing into the divider. Pant was half outside the car and I hit the brakes and me and my conductor went out and took him outside the car,” Mann stated in an unique interview with India Today.
Pant was first taken to the Saksham Hospital Multispecialty and Trauma Centre, following which he was shifted to the Max Hospital in Dehradun.
Pant was just lately not noted of the Indian workforce for the T20I and ODI collection in opposition to Sri Lanka.
