RANCHI:  Tribal our bodies stepped up their demand and have referred to as for ‘Jharkhand Bandh’ on January 24 to free Parasnath Hills from the Jain group and declare the hills as ‘Marang Buru’ (hill deity or supreme supply of energy) for the Santhal group.

In order to chalk out future plan of motion for reclaiming their proper over Parasnath Hills, native tribals organised a ‘Mahajutaan’ (grand assemblage) on Tuesday at Madhuban close to Parasnath Hills.
Amid tight safety, 1000’s of tribals assembled in Madhuban towards the declaration of Parasnath Hills as a spiritual place for the Jain group and introduced a struggle to the end for the safety of their sacred non secular place Marang Buru Disom Majhi Than.

After performing a puja at Marang Buru Disom Majh Than, the agitators burnt effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Giridih MLA Sudivya Kumar Sonu for handing over their sacred hills to the Jain group.

Hours after Union Government stopped all tourism and eco-tourism actions, banning liquor, medicine, and different intoxicants on Parasnath Hills to guard the sanctity of Sammed Shikarji, tribals dwelling within the area raised their demand to free their hills from outsiders’ interference.

Addressing the gathering, president of the tribal outfit Adivasi Sengel Abhiyan, Salkhan Murmu stated that Parasnath is a very powerful place of worship for Santhal tribe. “As Ayodhya is for Hindus, Rome is for Christians, Parasnath Hills is for the people of Santhal community living in Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and India. Our mantra starts with Marang Buru and the government is handing it over to others,” stated Murmu.

Tribal our bodies claimed that whole Parasnath Hills is theirs and has been often known as Marang Buru approach earlier than the Jain group arrived right here.  JMM MLA from Borio Lobin Hembrom has referred to as for the bandh assured that he’ll elevate the problem within the Assembly.

Sikandar Hembrom, Secretary of ‘Marang Buru Sanwata Susar Baisi,’ a neighborhood tribal outfit of Parasnath alleging a couple of individuals of their group attempting to purchase the tribals by taking cash from the Jains, requested the administration to establish them and lodge FIR towards them or they should resort to ‘sendra’ (a tribal pageant noticed on a selected date in May yearly, whereby tribal women and men armed
with conventional weapon raid the jungles and kill animals and birds).
