Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, issued a press release in response to the media queries in regards to the alleged indecent remedy by an official of the High Commission to an Indian girl.
The improvement comes after a school professor from Punjab alleged senior staffers of the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi requested her questions that made her uncomfortable.
“There is zero tolerance for misbehaviour and mistreatment of individuals visiting our Missions,” Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated over the incident.
“While we are looking into this case, we are surprised at its timing and the manner in which it has been raised. There are robust mechanisms in place for redressal of all public grievances,” she added.
She additionally stated that Pakistan attaches excessive significance to correct etiquette and behavior in direction of all visa and consular candidates.
“All our diplomatic staff are under strict instructions to conduct themselves professionally,” stated Baloch.
WHAT WAS THE ISSUE
A senior professor and head of a division at a college in Punjab stated she had booked an internet visa appointment with the Pakistan High Commission.
When requested in regards to the goal of her go to to Lahore, she informed the official, “I wish to visit Lahore to photograph the monuments and write on them and also visit a university where I was invited to deliver a lecture.”
