In his publication, The Red Hand Files, the Australian singer-songwriter on Monday responded to a fan who had despatched him a music generated by ChatGPT “in the style of Nick Cave.”
The singer wrote again to the fan named Mark, saying that “dozens” of followers, “most buzzing with a kind of algorithmic awe”, had despatched him songs produced by ChatGPT.
“With all the love and respect in the world, this song is bullshit, a grotesque mockery of what it is to be human, and, well, I don’t much like it.” he instructed the fan.
